One application of hypnotherapy that I practice is the resolution of conscious-unconscious mind disagreements or conflicts over prioritization of resources such as time and both mental and physical energy to match those priorities that, intellectually (e.g. consciously) you know are in order!  I do so using NLP "swish patterns" and "parts integration" techniques reinforced by emotional and submodalities anchoring, and by in-hypnotic-trance messaging of what you consciously already know about the importance of achieving your goals, elicitation of feeling refreshed and energized as anchored to the concept of the future, and elicitations of unconscious resolve and commitment to the goal of doing the amount of exercise that you need so that you can "stop wishing and start doing."
